Craig Robinson at Hilarities: Craig Robinson was already funny when he found himself cast as “Darryl Philbin” in “The Office” in 2005. His smooth sense of humor and skills at the keyboard made him a double threat on stage. “The Office” made him a household face.
He’s a star of tv, stage and the big screen, having just finished shooting “Dolemite Is My Name,” the story of Rudy Ray Moore, with Eddie Murphy. You might remember him from the “Hot Tub Time Machine” series. His latest film, with Aubrey Plaza, “An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn,” was just released. And he’s cast in the upcoming “Blood Moon” with Kate Hudson.
“The Office” stopped making new episodes in 2013, but it’s gained new life -- and young viewers -- with streaming and re-runs and he’s been in a string of other sitcoms including Brooklyn 99.

Oh, and he’s an author and TV producer, too. His collaboration with New York Times bestselling author Adam Mansbach, the illustrated book “Jake the Fake Keeps It Real,” is in the works for the Disney Channel.
